Hampton Court is  in fact 2 palaces – one built by Cardinal Wolsey & later by Henry Vlll. Alongside is a baroque palace built by William ll & Mary ll. Overall, it is extensive in size & steeped in royal history. Outside are 60 acres of beautifully maintained gardens, plus the famous maze.
