Belvoir Castle Gardens, designed by Harold Peto, is a lovely place to visit with four distinct areas to enjoy. There are the Formal Gardens with impressive statues, the Japanese Woodlands with plenty of magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias, the Duchess Garden which is a bit of a hidden garden with great views over the new pond and the Hermits Garden compete with Victorian Grottoes. Refreshments are available from The Aviary Tearoom with sandwiches, teas, coffee and scones.
