Bekonscot Model Village & Railway opened in 1929 is the world’s oldest and original model village. It has a huge Gauge 1 model railway set amongst over 200 model buildings, set as 6 villages, with animals, cars, zoo, airport and much more. There are also over 300 shrubs and trees, grown in bonsai style in scale with the buildings and railway. There is also a light railway that you can take a ride on. Hot and cold food is available in the tea room.
